Now we have Google interested in Open Hardware,

This developing platform [Android Open Accessory Kit] based on Arduino, basically enables hardware and software developers to adapt devices to Android phones and in general to Android apps.

Reading this news I remembered some efforts that We have been doing since more than three years with olpc and sugar in this sense:

There is now a thoughtful plan to have different software for various educational robotics kits like Lego Wedo in olpc builds.

Mostly we have been focusing on platforms for robotics learning, but I think we can move forward and make a real physical computing integration, making easy to develop both software and hardware than can talk with the XO and Sugar, taking advantage or ideas from the Google open accessory kit and its possible integrations with different industries that work with hardware devices.

We must bring these physical computing innovation to

a more wide base of people and learners (This kit is very costly), and we have this opportunity because the already begun efforts are based on the low cost platform Arduino; the combination with free software can make this a reality!.

Imagine the same quality of Google developer platforms but for lower costs and accessible for the almost two millions children that use Sugar.

Would be anyone interested in founding such an effort?.

Maybe Google ? Nahh..I'm too optimistic :).

Git for Sugar

One of the firsts walls or obstacles to enter Sugar development is learn our favourite control version system [git http://git-scm.com/], although somewhat counter-intuitive at the beginning, git is a very powerful tool, I wish there could be another way to have a collaborative way of development for kids, but we are not yet there.(could be other ways?)

For starters you would have to go to our web-ui git instance called [gitorious

or make a personal clone of a project of your election on the web-ui.

keep your project up-to-date with

git pull

you can also make a patch and sent it ot the developer

Note: is preferable that you generate your patch from the root directory of your project.

if you want more visibility or reviews you can also send your patch to sugar-dev mail list.

as a maintainer you can apply patches, sent by others, in this case you have

Some commands may seem very hard, but it's a matter of practice, and the combination of command line interface and gitorious ui, could be very practical both for development in terms of code maintain and for coordinated and collaborative development between various people.

Developing Sugar inside Sugar

I've always aproached the problem of developing in sugar but working on non-native sugar solutions for example virtualization, sugar-jhbuild [1], but never imagined to approach the problem using a native installed sugar laptop like the xo of OLPC, as it's natural one must think that having sugar installed the laptop has all the necesary tools to develop, this was almost truth for me.

bundlebuilder it's the part of sugar that manipulates .xo bundles (.zip files for activities)

and it needs git that it is not installed by default.

so all you have to do is:

yum install git

then vi [2]. (installed by default on the XO). Emacs or another editor and possibly in a near future an activity like develop [3] (still unfinished)

or similar allowing to have a python-IDE inside sugar

Sugar-OLPC Woes.

In a recent mail to IAEP, Bernie Innocenti asks for self criticism in Sugar and OLPC, communities, I'll give my points of view in this post.

firstly, I want to say that for me volunteer communities that work for OLPC and Sugar in every day basis are the real underlying motor that impulse the growth of technologies applied to education yet communities are attracted by openness of discussion and ''free-ness'' of software, this is an advantage that we can't afford to lose and sometimes we are failing to give real value to it spreading the word: FLOSS.

I must say that technical growth can be achieved, although i know that we lack of resources to maintain crucial members of our development core, and there is a empty or interrogation space regarding economical opportunities of Sugar, somewhat selling machines is easier but ''selling'' pedagogy or software services is not so.

I'm now more concerned about education and pedagogical impact of our work,
and hey! my field is not pedagogy, that must be why I'm concerned (because i don't understand it :)); i feel that what OLPC and Sugar are trying to do is revolutionary, but the concepts are being applied in a damaged base, the damaged base is School, School (and more over Universities) must be re-thinked
and re-modeled, (I really like uruguay's experiments working with XOs in schools) , anyway i don't want to go deeper on this idea, because other writers are more indicated to do it. and it's not the intention of this blog.

So this re-modeling or re-thinking of schools is not going to happen anytime soon, let's focus on what we can control now: intersections between pedagogic an technological approaches.
The key process to our future improvement could be understanding these intersections and interactions, for instance we have development cycles, but we don't have pedagogical cycles, we can review easily changes in code but not how and why changes are happening in classrooms, we are adapting Sugar and XOs to technological constraints but not for pedagogical concepts or questions and this is mostly due to lack of feedback, we need people reviewing pedagogical outcomes the same way we have people reviewing quality and performance of code. There is a divergence of times between technological development and education development, but it's necessary to shorten this divergence. although it's difficult to set times i propose we must have a 6-month state of the project discussion where we take into count not only tecnological or pedagogical outcomes but rather interseptions between these two. For lack of resources if we cannot do it physically we must do it virtually. This state of the project discussions (could be associated to sugar camps), should say to us how and why to correct mistakes and in short give us better understanding of our paths and objectives.

Testing New Sugar and OLPC Images.

After going back I've found that community is always improving and development Sugar and OLPC, together :). In my spare time i managed to test new builds on an Xo 1.5

Looking for a Deployment Team

Long ago we worked on a deployment team looking to fulfil necessities of integration between deployments and development, it's a non trivial task as all related to Sugar, in the way that one have to consider not only one aspect but all aspects as learning, subtle politics, development and reach-out.

Long ago we conformed that group, but is ''really'' time consuming, and the people involved there, were not able to continue that task, furthermore, there is a need for person to person communication, not always virtuality can make progress on understanding.

Trips to different deployment sites are expensive, although necessary, because people tend to think that Sugar is auto-sustainable, some deployment folks cannot believe that core devs are in majority volunteers. The organizations and countries that are using Sugar in the field must be aware of these circumstances and in doing so support more closely SugarLabs and Local SugarLabs.

This blog is one call to get more integration and communication between different parts involved and to avoid wasting a magnificent opportunity: making a globally distributed Education Project, namely SugarLabs plus OLE plus OLPC.

OLPC and Sugar, Live dreams

I like to publicize here Nicholas Negroponte and Walter Bender's response to one blog, a particularly bad documented one by Alanna Shaikh on a UN Foundation-sponsored site (http://www.undispatch.com/node/8859):

''The dream is not over. When OLPC started there were no low cost laptops. We created the category less than four years ago and it now represents almost one third of the world production of latops. I am not aware of too many technologies that have gone from “impossible” to such wide adoption.

The million laptops, our little green ones, that are in the hands of children, are currently in 19 languages and 31 countries. Another million are on their way. Not bad. But even better, these countries include Afghanistan, Haiti, Ethiopia, as well as places like the West Bank (and next month Gaza). Even better, eh?

Local Labs organization (II)

Deep inside a local labs, we have to consider a general internal organization.

These are the proposed objectives of a local labs

* Adapt the technology and pedagogy to an area's culture and resources (e.g, developing activities and content specific to a region)
* Help translate Sugar to the local language(s)
* Support Sugar deployments in area schools
* Create a local community devoted to the Sugar Labs principles, making Sugar more open and sustainable
* Provide for communication,between the local communities and the global Sugar Labs community
* Develop Local content and software that can be used not only for local purposes but also for the overall community
* Host, co-host or partner in the organization of conferences, workshops, talks and meetings related to the use or development of Sugar,

And these are the means proposed to accomplish these objectives.

* A university connection as a local human resource
* A local pilot user group from which to learn
* A local passion or sub-goal that provides a rational for the work
* Bi-directional communication with the global Sugar community and other Sugar Labs
* A sustainable and well-defined entrepreneurship model
* A program to reach out to local free-software community and local industry.
* A marketing program or roadmap

Internally each local labs, have to divide responsibilities between the individuals to achieve objectives, implement programs and with that reach sustainability.

But overall the people involved have to be passionate about education and free software, they have to be passionate about cultural and social changes, they have to share their knowledge and construct innovation starting from the joy of collaboration, because after all, love is better master than duty.

Local Labs organization (I)

As intended from the beginning, SugarLabs is a distributed FLOSS organization, anyone can be part of Sugarlabs and also can found organizations that can support or share the same or similar objectives Sugarlabs is supporting.

Local Labs are organized to supply specific needings of countries where sugar is deployed,
some of them are constituted of volunteers that want to have economic support to be able to help,
in other words they need help to help others, but this organizations although motivated by charity are doing entrepreneurship models to be soustanaible and scalable, to include and not to exclude all learners (parents, teachers, students, developers and deployers).

Although the local labs effort is young we have seen a nascent interest on it, because we are looking for a more independent way of thinking and this thinking has to be applied not only to ideas but also to real life procedures; liberty generates empathy and facilitates inclusion of new supporters and cultivates ideas.

But independence doesn't mean ignoring other people's point of view, and local labs have to have a good communication between them and the overall Sugarlabs that is also composed of local labs,
in a way of saying there is not a centralized Sugarlabs, there is a central place of virtual gathering namely mail-lists, wiki's and IRC channels.

Some orgs (not necessarily FLOSS oriented) have chosen the other way around, they impose all in a centralized way.
but this is not sustainable or scalable and then they have been doing some fragmentation of it's own orgs in entities like nemeorg-LA or nameorg-India or nameorg-USA. and each one independent from the central nameorg but without an straight-trough way of communication between them, in other words, they are now adopting some of the federated way of thinking but without having the advantages of it, the future for these centralized organizations is not too bright because they are exercising the same top-down ideas in all it's fragmented partners, when they try to impose
or ''give'' a solution to different countries or third-parties, they are working ''for'' them and not ''with'' them, this generate opossing forces that act against their progress even from the start, so they have to work not only to solve the problems that it's mission implies but also these pre-existent forces, due to the fact that artificial solutions don't solve the real needs of communities because they ''interpret'' communities needs and don't work side-by-side to solve them.

The first part of this blog talks about the need for a distributed FLOSS organization, the second part would discuss it's organization specifics, what we are lacking and what we are doing well.

SugarLabs, Local Labs, World labs.

So we have begun a good way to distribute a FLOSS project, we share ideas with people that have been thinking on it for a while now, including Walter Bender, Sebastian Silva, Edward Cherling David Farning, Tomeu Visozo and others (all sugar labs community ;)), i think in some way the people that is working on SugarLabs (http://sugarlabs.org/), share the same concepts about how to help in breaking status quo.

At the beginning we had questions about how to make Sugar deployments better, how to reach the broad community, because sugar it's not only aimed to developers, it's truth aim are teachers, students and parents, (iirc) David Farning proposed that the development of all SugarLabs should be oriented by teams, and thous we have deployment team.

What i really like about the naming is the biological and physics resemblances.

Sugar components

1 Sweet (the taste of sugar) : The abstract design of the interface: This is the design of the GUI with mockups in

2 Glucose (the fundamental, simple sugar used by all life forms): The base Sugar environment
Glucose doesn't include any of the activities it's just the minimal dependencies or packages that must be added to any standard linux distribution in order to get activities working.for example
xorg-server, xulrunner, squeakvm, rainbow, etc.

3 Fructose (the main sugar in fruit, which is how we're supposed to get our sugar): A set of demonstration activities.
Fructose are the packages for making sugar demonstrations, more exactly a set of activities impressive enough for potential sugar users or clients.

4 Sucrose ("table sugar", the kind you buy in the store. It consists of glucose and fructose, combined): The interface, plus a set of demonstration activities.
Glucose + Fructose = complete example Sugar environment, ready to be installed through a package manager.(yum, apt...).

5 Ribose(the sugar used by all lifeforms to control their hardware, in the form of RNA. It's important, but not sweet):The base Linux distribution being used by Sugar
It includes the XO kernels, OHM, any init-script customizations, etc. In synthesis all components necessary to boot the system, enough to install Glucose if it has not yet been installed.

6 Starch(es)(starch is composed of multiple sugars bonded together): A complete disk image for Sugar
Complete disk images for Sugar, as an example "glycogen" could be a development a starch used to produce Glucose. and "cellulose", an extremely stable starch or stable build.

Lead acetate: An implementation of Sweet on Windows

(often called sugar of lead(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar_of_lead), lead acetate tastes better than sugar but isn't good for children)

"Lead acetate" is the proposed implementation of Sweet on Windows XP. Lead acetate may provide better performance than Glucose, but it is obsolete and toxic to young brains(http://www.healthychildrenproject.org/pdf/PPLEAD.pdf). It causes learning disability, behavioral tendencies toward violence, and even brain damage.

Despues de hacer esto el modulo de bcm y el de ndiswrapper deben estar ahora instalados, luego se debe hacer lo siguiente deberia para habilitar la interfaz.

dhclient

Con esto debe bastar, no se recomienda que los mudulos ndiswrapper y bcm arranquen por default en la inicializacion del kernel, ya que este tipo de firmware es no-nativo. Otros problemas pueden estar relacionados con verisones especificas del kernel y/o de ndiswrapper o del firmware bcm43xx
ademas de los nombres de las tarjetas de red.

Vislumbring RPFs path

It was the last day,last day at cambridge, last day at OLPC, a little cold day, but happy and cozy inside my brain,
Some birds were beginning to go to warmer places, and me too.
For some reason this last day was magic, i went to MIT press book store, and i found a book of RPFs,
the letters he wrote in all his life. At that time i didnt know that he attended to MIT, and i was there..kind of extrange, even though i was exited to be at MIT, this new ingredient made me fell like if in some way i was beginning to do something important at last.
Then i revisited MIT feeling what one of the caractheres i admire the most felt while being there,
so know i now that im beginning to see just a glinch of RPFs path..
seeing it and then perhaps doing a parallel one, like always.

"Uses a single wire (plus ground) to accomplish both communication and power transmission. A single bus master can feed multiple slaves over a single twisted-pair cable. An important aspect of this technology is that every slave has a globally unique digital address.

What is the 1-Wire Net?
The 1-Wire net is a low-cost bus based on a PC or micro-controller communicating digitally over twisted-pair cable with 1-Wire components. The network is defined with an open-drain (wired-AND) master/slave multidrop architecture that uses a resistor pull-up to a nominal 5V supply at the master. A 1-Wire net-based system consists of three main elements: 1) a bus master with controlling software such as the TMEX iButton viewer; 2) wiring and associated connectors; and 3) 1-Wire devices. The system permits tight control because no node is authorized to speak unless requested by the master, and no communication is allowed between slaves except through the master.

The 1-Wire protocol uses conventional CMOS/TTL logic levels with operation specified over a supply voltage range of 2.8V to 6V. Both master and slaves are configured as transceivers permitting bit sequential data to flow in either direction, but only one direction at a time, with data read and written least significant bit (LSB) first. An economical DS9097U COM port adapter interfaces the RS-232 to the net. A DS2480 serial 1-Wire line driver chip is also available to generate the proper signals and programmable waveforms that maximize performance.

Data on the 1-Wire net is transferred by time slots. For example, to write a logic one to a slave, the master pulls the bus low for 15µs or less. To write a logic zero, the master pulls the bus low for at least 60µs to provide timing margin for worst-case conditions. A system clock is not required, as each 1-Wire part is self-clocked by its own internal oscillator synchronized to the falling edge of the master. Power for chip operation is derived from the bus during idle communication periods when the DATA line is at 5V by including a half-wave rectifier on each slave.

Whenever the data line is pulled high, the diode in the half-wave rectifier turns on and charges an on-chip capacitor. When the voltage on the net drops below the voltage on the capacitor, the diode is reverse biased, which isolates the charge. The resulting charge provides the energy source to power the slave during the intervals when the net is pulled low. The amount of charge lost during these periods is replenished when the data line returns high. This concept of "stealing" power from the net using a half-wave rectifier is referred to as "parasite power".

When communicating, the master resets the network by holding the bus low for at least 480µs, releasing it, and then looking for a responding presence pulse from a slave connected to the line. If a presence pulse is detected, it then accesses the slave by calling its address, controlling the information transfer by generating time slots and examining the response from the slave. Once this handshake is successful, the master issues necessary device-specific commands and performs any needed data transfers between it and the slave. The master can select a single slave from many on the net because of its unique digital address.

A Unique Address for Every Part?

Within each 1-Wire slave is stored a lasered ROM section with its own guaranteed unique, 64-bit serial number that acts as its node address. This globally unique address is composed of eight bytes divided into three main sections. Starting with the LSB, the first byte stores the 8-bit family codes that identify the device type. The next six bytes store a customizable 48-bit individual address. The last byte, the most significant byte (MSB), contains a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) with a value based on the data contained in the first seven bytes. This allows the master to determine if an address was read without error. With a 248 serial number pool, conflicting or duplicate node addresses on the net are never a problem.

Because 1-Wire devices can be formatted with a file directory like a floppy disk, files can be randomly accessed and changed without disturbing other records. Information is read or written when the master addresses a device connected to the bus, or an iButton is touched to a probe somewhere along the 1-Wire net. The inclusion of up to 64k of memory in 1-Wire chips allows standard information such as employee name, ID number, and security level to be stored within the device. Maximum data security can be provided by 1-Wire chip implementation of the US government-certified Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-1).

Historically, the 1-Wire net was envisioned as a single twisted pair routed throughout the area of interest with 1-Wire slaves daisy-chained where needed. However, if the network is heavily loaded, it may be preferable or even necessary to separate the bus into sections. This has the added benefit of providing information about the physical location of a 1-Wire device on the bus, which facilitates troubleshooting. By using one section as the main "trunk" and adding or removing segment "branches" with a DS2409 as needed, a true 1-Wire net is created. This also reduces the load seen by the bus master to that of the trunk and those segments connected to it by activated DS2409s.

Consequently, the DS2409 MicroLAN coupler is a key component for creating complex 1-Wire nets. It contains MAIN and AUX transmission-gate outputs and an open-drain output transistor (CONT), each of which can be remotely controlled by the bus master. A simple 1-Wire branch with DS2430 EEPROM connected to label the node provides tagging information specific to that particular node such as location and function. The LED attached to the CONT output provides visual indication of the specific branch being addressed and can be blinked by software for extra visual impact."

Debian live

Antes era dificil hacer un live cd o una usb live en debian, habian alternativas que se utilizaban como metadistros o morphix, pero de alguna u otra manera, estas alternativas no cumplian totalmente lo que se espera de un paquete nativo de Debian.
Desde hace un año ha salido a la luz un proyecto que intenta cubrir las deficiencias de la realizacion de sistemas live para Debian, se llama debian live..y (que facil es ahora).

Como se hace un live cd de Debian en un paso...?
Simplemente se realiza el siguiente comando despues de haber instalado el paquete make-live:

apt-get install make-live
make-live

y listo..el script se conecta a la red y genera una iso que se puede quemar con K3b o lo que se quiera, por defecto se crea una imagen de Sid.

Jugando con make-live
listo ahora si podemos empezar a hacer otras cosas:

Especificar arquitectura: make-live -a
Especificar version de debian : make-live -d etch (por ejemplo)
Especificar paquetes a instalar : make-live -p gnome (para hacer un live cd de sid con gnome como manejador de ventanas)

Algunos ejemplos :

make-live -a i386 -d etch -p xfce

Apartir de aca se pueden empezar a hacer live cds totalmente personalizables, solo es hackear el script.

Simplemente hacer :
make-live -t usb ...y aca lo mismo que antes

Mirar el estado del arte de otras propuestas tecnologicas parecidas a OLPC..
personalmente no conozco ninguna que le de la talla en conjunto.. es decir no solo tecnologicamente sino tambien educativamente,,sin embargo me intriga el proyecto de china, tecnologicamente puede llegar a ser equipareble pero educativamente...?, tomando en cuenta la expertisia de OLPC en su conjunto..

Razones por las cuales el protocolo de Marvell no ha sido liberado, aunque sin embargo se esta trabajando en ello..
El kernel de Linux no tiene soporte para el protocolo 802.11s, debido a que este

OLPC ya esta en el proceso de contratar una persona que se dedique exclusivamente a relizar el proceso de pasar el codigo de Marvell a una paltaforma libre, pero hay que tener en cuenta que Marvell no ha tratado de evitar en ningun momento este proceso, y la idea original de ellos era liberarlo.

Ahora estoy desarrollando para el proyecto OLPC del MIT, no he hecho todavia mucho por que me falta mucho por saber pero ahi vamos, estoy impulsando el proyecto para que pueda ser implantado en Colombia.
Me gustaria ahora hacer implementaciones roboticas con Squeak, trabajar en la portacion del firmware del chip wireless de Marvell a O.S, e investigar algo del trabajo que esta haciendo Alan Kay para la compresion de Codigo Java y Python con el fin de mejorar la eficiencia de los sistemas linux.
Trabajar en sistemas embebidos linux para aparatos portatiles y explorar sus capacidades.. firmware etc.
Seguir con el proceso para poder ser Debian Developer
escribir articulo para revista y otros eventos.
Lo del firmware de Marvell toca esperar a que haya un desarrollo en linux por que no me soltaron el codigo.

Ultimamente han pasado muchas cosas y a pesar de no poderlas registrar existen ,, existen en mi mente y existiran para siempre...
Me siento satisfecho pero no quiere decir que voy a parar hay muchas cosas y siempre habra muchas cosas que resolver, mierda es el peso es el peso pero la alegria mas grande.. de pronto puede ser el comienzo de la luz encontrar por fin la salida del tunel, estar de nuevo en la ola de la vida no puedo bajarme ni quiero hacerlo, siento que estoy ayudando aunque de una forma pequeña en el cambio del mundo.. en el futuro de la humanidad.. estoy ayudando por fin no soy tan parasito, voy a dejar aunque sea algo detras mio cuando muera..es poco pero es un comienzo.
No siento el vacio que dejaste en mi alma y aunque me gustaria que estuvieras conmigo..se que lo tengo que hacer lo debo hacer solo ahora.. no te pude encontrar antes, quisiera que me hubieras ayudado en esto.. lo se y tu lo sabes afrodita de oro.. como siempre sabes que te estare esperando.

Claro no he salido completamente, estoy rascando todavia las paredes de la muerte.Sin embargo podria decir que he encontrado una cosa que me llena completamnente y es el conocimiento compartido (ya que no hay amor a la vista) me puedo dedicar a desarrollar, a darle lo poco que puedo dar a la gente, eso es lo que me hace feliz; es más cuando estoy ahi en esa posicion no me importa todo lo demas, no me importan los problemas, no me importa el vacio, en sintesis creo que lo unico que me queda es la creacion, no estoy diciendo que yo sea el duro en eso y que tengo una imaginacion grande y ando haciendo quien sabe que cosas para salvar al mundo.. no, no es nada de eso, pero dentro de lo que puedo hago todo lo posible y se lo muestro al mundo. de pronto a alguien le pueda servir.Dar, dar todo lo que se piensa y siente, esa es la alternativa a la muerte; vivir, vivir al maximo sentir el dolor y hacerlo parte de nuestra propia e irrepetible experiencia de vida, utilizarlo para crear cosas buenas.. desde la mierda saldra algo que sane asi sea por poco tiempo.

Aportar es solo ser al limite, ser lo que uno sabe que debe ser y hacerlo sin limitaciones...logico en ese camino siempre habra instantes en los cuales querremos renunciar, pero para eso estan los demás para recordarnos que todos estamos solos, lo unico que nos saca de la nimiedad es compartir un poco esa soledad.
Para mi eso es el amor.. el verdadero amor, alguien que le ayude a uno a comprender , cada dia, lo anterior.

Claro que la soledad es mala o eso dicen, mas bien creo que hay que sacarle jugo mientras se pueda....despues uno es diferente con una persona al lado, por que asi uno no lo quiera se termina sacrificando algo de lo que se es por el otro (como si yo supiera mucho de ese concepto "amor") . pero no quiero escribir ahora de eso quisiera referirme a lo que he llamado institucionalizacion de la soledad. Esto sale de una pelicula que ahora no recuerdo el nombre pero bueno...la historia era del bibliotecario de una carcel que habia pasado casi toda su vida encerrado.Tenia cierto estatus dentro de la misma y por ello podia repartir los libros, revistas..etc; todos los reos le tenian cierto aprecio por que era como el abuelo bonachon de los criminales.
Cuando llego el tiempo de salir tendria ya como setenta años, entonces era logico que se encontrara ante una situacion desoladora, no solo por que el unico respeto que podria tener era adentro y no afuera, si no por que ya toda la gente que habia amado estaba muerta. Para resumir un poco, al salir le dieron un pueso de empacador en un supermercado, y una pequeña habitacion en un hotel..luego se ahorco.
No me podia imaginar en ese momento como uno podria llegar a amar la carcel,
pero despues de un tiempo creo que comprendo al viejo, por que me ha pasado un poco asi con la soledad, he estado tanto tiempo solo que he empezado a pensar que esto es lo unico que hay... conformismo total.
La aceptacion de mi incapacidad social, trae buenas cosas como no esperar nada o mejor no desear nada..miro la felicidad de la gente desde afuera.. y no es que yo este triste, simplemente, mi felicidad se basa en cosas diferentes.. aunque tambien se que cuando estoy triste estoy mucho mas triste que los demas..absurdamente triste yo diria. Trato de evitar esta tristeza pero ironicamente ella viene de la interaccion con la gente...por que me imagino que podria hacer yo si solo tiviera un verdadero apoyo (lo tengo de mi mismo y eso es bueno), pero hay muchas situaciones que pesan mucho y aveces se nescesita algo externo, algo que salga o rompa con lo que siempre esta dentro de mi mente.
Me incomoda por eso el mundo como es ahora para mi, me asusta el cambio, me gusta en cambio mi soledad, me gusta lo que yo siempre he tenido...soy un reo de la soledad.
Tal vez el tren ya se fue sin darme cuenta, vivo entonces en la inercia total pensando que la puesta en funcionamiento de mis ideas (creación), es la clave de la felicidad, el escape profundo y eterno del vacio.

Cuando me refiero a incapacidad social quiero referirme a la absurda incompetencia con las mujeres...soy un imbecil en el amor..Imbecil en todo el sentido de la palabra..no es que no pueda hablar con ellas simplemente me da mucho miedo lo que producen en mi, les tengo miedo, son como una raza destructora de sueños, pero de los mios..
Me canse de sentirme miserable por no tener a alguien a mi lado.. me canse de sentirme mal por eso y saben que..? ahora me vale...me vale mierda.. yo soy importante como ser humano como todos los seres humanos, el hecho estupido de que este solo no me hace menos.. dijo no a la tristeza de siempre, acepto alguna pero no toda, me canse de eso.
Sin embargo todavia te espero eterna afrodita de oro..aún te espero y te sueño siempre desde esta carcel de soledad..pero el hecho de esperarte no me va a hacer morir.

Entonces todo es y debe ser como es, si acaso pudiera ser algo diferente por que no se aprecia? es como ese rio ancho que fluye por dentro de la vida, tan lento y exacto. Uno quisiera pararlo pero es imposible.
aveces aceptamos esto como cuando al mirar el atardecer en el campo, no hay dudas y nos dejamos atravezar por el rio perpetuo.. pero hay otras ocasiones si no la mayoria, donde quisieramos romper todo con una mirada, con un pensamiento y cabalgar infinitos tiempos pasados en busca de una respuesta unica e inalterable, como quisiera yo ahora que todo no estuviera en el lugar exacto, encontrar de nuevo el cambio escondido que me diera otros puntos de vista para salir de este ciclo que me consume.
aveces pienso que este ciclo solo se puede reducir a cero en tus ojos o en la tierra, al final.
Pero sinceramente creo que la solucion o la respuesta mas acertada seria, bueno la que en realidad podria obtener mas facil y en realidad me asusta pensar esto pero puede ser verdad, no esta aca en esta realidad.
Al parecer, las respuestas que podrian darme tranquilidad no creo poderlas obtener debido a mi falta total de inteligencia...
Entonces como en todo hay dos opciones bueno en este caso tres tomando en cuenta la religion..1 Un milagro...2. seguir intentando...y 3. desfallecer....
El milagro (algo o alguien que sacuda mis cimientos). puede sobrevenir pero creo que es mas facil que se acabe el mundo.
Seguir intentando es bueno pero las fuerzas y las esperanzas empiezan a acabarse y eso es malo.
Desfallecer.. solucion radical pero tentadora...dejarse llevar y esperar o una eternidad de arrepentimiento (dolor) o una nueva oportunidad..(iluso).
Como lo veo estoy mas cerca de la ultima opcion.

Ahora te me apareces como un laberinto complementando mi tristeza, mi miedo materializado se mete en las venas y he de esperar un cambio ? como borrar esta pena ?
Tu sabes como yo, tu sabes que lo nuestro no puede durar por siempre, por lo menos en esta tierra. Claro, en mi mente perduras perfecta y ese es mi dolor, verte asi, manchada con esa condena;
Vuleve, bajate de esa quimera, ayudame a olvidar y de nuevo construye lo que parece perdonado;

P.D: Para un amigo con relación a su novia. para mi es la descripcion de lo que el podria sentir esa noche..el amor es una doble condena quien no ama sufre y quien ama sufre más (pero vale la pena sufrir por eso).

Las Panaderias de la esquina

Cuando estamos mas sin plata siempre surgue la posibidad de comerse un roscon (de arequipe o de bocadillo), un churro o en su defecto un pan, en la panaderia de siempre con el tipico mostrador rojo de estantes blancos, llenos de esa preciosa variedad de convites criollos, que no he tenido la oportunidad de ver en esas grandiosas fotografias de Miami o New York ...Claro esto lo digo desde la perspectiva de estudiante pobre que le gusta la ciencia, que ademas tiene varios proyectos que hacer y que siempre piensa y tiene la fe ciega de que alguna de sus ideas locas puedan ser rentables algún dia...
Esta foto fue tomada el dia del flisol 2006, en algún lugar de chapinero al frente
de un ensayadero de bandas underground... ese dia estaba con recognizer que habia llevado su camara y decidimos hacer esta toma..En esas yo tenia en mente lo que nos habia tocado hacer aveces con Kronos cuando teniamos demasiada hambre por darle tanto al software libre en el menos tres...Logicamente nunca hemos tenido demasiada plata como para irnos de almuerzo corrientazo de 3.500 o menos..?
Entonces nos ibamos a caminar por la 45 y casi en cada esquina habia una de estas tiendas donde me acuerdo que cuando chiquito tomaba pony malta despues de jugar un cotejo con los del barrio (siempre me la pasaba jugando...que vago...).
No me acuerdo ahora si lo comente esa vez con Kronos pero me parecio interesante hacerle un homenaje a estos refugios temporales donde por quinientos pesos nos hemos salvado de una anemia segura.
Ojala esto sea un comienzo para ese homenaje.

Ahora estoy trabajando en varias cosas...Primero: DrozConfluence, qué es DrozConfluence? DrozConfluence es un grupo de robotica que pretende dejar todos sus desarrollos como de contenido abierto (despues pongo algo de todo el tema de la cultura libre), es decir se documenta todo y los esquemas de los circuitos con los programas de los micrcontroladores, los puede ver y utilizar todo el mundo, bajo ciertas condiciones que no tienen que ver en ningún momento con cerrrar el conocimiento. Pero tambien la idea es que se forme una comunidad que colabore entre si para poder sacar nuevos desarrollos que puedan aportar algo al desarrollo del pais y de la ciencia.
ya tenemos pagina web que se situa en el-directorio, el lugar de software libre en colombia.
Otra cosa: Estoy haciendo este blog..entonces seria bueno mejorarlo y publicar algunas de mis poesias, asi como otras cosas.
Tercero: Trabajar en el proyecto de robotica para el nacional de la IEEE
Cuarto: Desarrollar la idea de un software para aplicaciones moviles e inalambricas.
Quinto: Empezar a investigar sobre la publicacion de otro articulo, tengo algunas ideas, podria ser sobre herramientas libres en electronica en general, o sobre una en especifica como Scilab, Pikdev o Sdcc... incluso hay un escrito interesante sobre un control no lineal modelado en Scilab, podria ser esto en especifico pero lo que en realidad estaba pensando era hacer lo mismo pero comparandolo con un controlador del tipo difuso..Cuales son las diferencias entre los dos?, cuando se debe utilizar un controlador difuso y uno no lineal?..
Una idea loca que se me ocurrio seria el diseño de un controlador caotico..
como seria esto? .. en realidad tiene sentido?, se puede hacer algo con la teoria de fractales o de juegos..? Otra idea era algo de vision artificial con reconocimiento fractalico.. y algoritmos de reconocimiento de recorrido (inteligencia artificial).Pero aun falta desarrollo sobre todo mental de parte mia por que soy mas bruto que el putas.

De Como empece a Escribir

Antes solia ser facil para mi expresarme por escrito, y al parecer esa facilidad que al comienzo tenia para este tipo de ejercicios literarios, se ha ido diluyendo con el tiempo (creo que eso se puede ver aca ), bueno por lo menos pienso que asi era...
Empece a escribir como a los catorce (o antes?) , pero no fue por iniciativa propia, en ese tiempo (y aun ahora), yo era todo solitario, peor aun no sabia ni por que, ni como, ni donde....Estaba como en otro lugar, en un lugar lleno de tristeza, pero apesar de eso era como mi lugar y yo podia crear, podia hacer lo que quisiera alli; y mientras estaba ahi conoci a alguien que me saco de eso un poco.
Al principio pense que salir de ese mundo creado, podria ser contraproducente pero ella me hizo comprender que a pesar de todo lo que yo pudiera creer, yo podia aportar algo...Solo con eso, con solo eso ella se gano (y aun lo hace) el cielo para mi.
Era sorprendente poder contarle a alguien lo que tenia yo por decir, y que antes de conocerla pensaba que era inutil o ridiculo.
Para mi ese contacto y esa reciprocidad eran lo suficiente como para estar feliz;
pero claro siempre tiene que haber "peros" en este tipo de historias... y es que cometi un error garrafal, que creo ha dictado muchas de las cosas que he hecho en adelante, asi sean buenas o malas.
El cariño que tenia por ella se empezo a convertir en algo mas, cada dia que hablabamos era como encontrar el hogar que yo no tenia, en esos ojos claros
Sentia el calor que esas tardes de cota no me podian brindar...
Que mierda, me enamore perdidamente, estupidamente y lo que es peor sin esperanza.
Ahora que lo pienso ella me arregló y me partió el corazon, con una sola frase.
y es que en ese momento ella estaba empezando con el amor de su vida o como dicen algunos el alma gemela y ese tipo de cosas (ya sabremos por que).
Aunque eso ya paso hace mucho y logico que ya no estoy enamorado de ella nunca dejare de pensarla y aun ahora la busco en los rostros, en la lluvia, en los libros, en las cosas que puedan significar, esa palabra extraña para mi, llamada amor; como dice la cancion el amor es suicidio.
Entonces escribir no fue por mi propia iniciativa, fue, digamoslo asi, una obligacion impuesta por la vida y el vacio causado por la falta de ella.
Claro que ella tambien me dio el coraje para hacerlo directamente, pero lo que hizo que los escritos de ese tiempo fueran mas o menos aceptables fue su desamor...Ironico, no..?.
lili my one and only...Tuve que alejarme de ella por mi propio bien, mi eterna afrodita de oro como diria borges.
Como hubiera sido de diferente todo si hubiera tenido oportunidad con ella, por lo menos no sentiria este vacio sin sentido que no puedo llenar con nada, por lo menos con nada que pueda tener (hablando de eso, por ahora la unica oportunidad de quitar ese vacio es tan imposible como cercana...Tipico, digamos que ella sabe quien es pero tambien se que es caso perdido, estare condenado a la soledad?).
Bueno como para acabar la historia, segui escribiendo pero ya no podia verla y claro como ver a alguien que queria tanto yendo por ahi con el novio en la u....
Pues me parecia bacano que ella tuviera eso que yo no podia, en realidad yo no podia hacer nada para remediarlo y dentro de mi pensaba que eso era lo mejor
debido a que en ese tiempo yo creia que no era el indicado para ninguna mujer
y de pronto tenia razón.
Entonces eche al viento sus miradas y su recuerdo, adios y despedida, en mis poemas llore mi luto, dejando todo al destino y a las letras que fueron mi consuelo.
Gracias a dios el tiempo ayuda a curar las heridas, pero siempre me arrepentire de no haber podido ser amigo de ella.
Lo curioso de esto fue que despues de otras muchas cosas que de pronto despues contaré, me interese por cosas más alegres, o por lo menos más entretenidas.. y en esto empezo la ciencia que es mi amor ahora, sin embargo abandone un poco la literatura por lo menos este año y tengo que continuar con ella por que escribir me libera un poco, aunque es muy triste y en parte esa fue la razon por la que no estudie literatura o periodismo o algo parecido, lo que no pasa con la ciencia que es desafiante a todo momento, claro que aveces puede ser demasiado absorbente y cuando no hay resultados puede ser frustrante, pero solo ahi en esos momentos (solo ahi) uno se pregunta... cuando ya no hay nada en que pensar, uno se pregunta dónde está lili?.

Por lo del titulo, no hay que asustarse, en realidad no pienso que la vida sea una mierda, solo la vida que el ser humano se ha forjado, si tan solo pudieramos dejar tantos prejuicios y estupidez, este mundo podria ser de lo mejor.

Esto lo hago como para desahogarme, espero que sea eso y no mas,,,
no me gustaria tomar en cuenta ninguna cosa que escriba aqui, ya que las cosas que pienso en su mayoria son muy estupidas o sin significado...
Bueno tampoco, lo anterior era broma. La verdad pienso que esto puede ser muy interesante para mi, aunque seria bueno pensar que alguien pase por aca y le eche una ojeada, debe estar medio tostado para hacerlo, pero bueno...

Aca voy a poner todo lo que pienso y hago, como diria alguien mi vida y obra, creo que es la primera vez que voy a hacer totelmente abierto con algo...Ojala nadie lo vea..(jajajaja)
