The XO is a unique machine that needs to be working in places where there are few or there are not typical sources of energy, there are many ideas about this (http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Battery_and_power), the main objective this summer is to help improving these systems, this is a hard and complex work to do because it involves not only low level software but also hardware.
There are many things to do and all my research is going to be in the wiki, i now have created two pages to begin helping and following the advices of my mentors.
